"Most intriguing is that during this time when the cold landscape seems barren, the soil is most alive with the fullness of vitality." What a great affirmation from nature and reminder to trust in the stillness. Thank you, Shannon, for your depiction of the winter hearth.

A dark, misty, moody night here in England. I'm up late until the log fire burns down because it is so beautiful. It's just about to go.

I saw Krista's name on my Facebook Page, and in the musing magic of beyond midnight, traced it back to this website. Loved it. As you might possibly know, I introduced shamanic performance into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (I taught and directed there for ten years), before writing The Way of Wyrd, and creating the Shamanic Consciousness course at the University of Sussex. So as you can imagine, I resonated strongly with your Hearth Fire projects. I send you all best wishes and guardian spirits for your work.

I do feel welcome here. I feel the kind of warmth that I call home.

There is a soft and enveloping texture here that reminds me of how we as Humans are capable of creating a place of Soul.

It is a Calling that all of us share and participate in so fully and innocently that we often do not notice that we are the creators.

We give Soul to all that we Love and notice from this place of Loving.

Let this Love be the Water that we swim in and here in this magical place may the glowing Hearth Fire sit down with the Holy Water
AND we shall see what we shall see.

Thank you for creating a space to conceive of such a thing. Jerry

Dear Krista, Michael et al, May your hearth fires be alighted; may your communal centering space be tender, strong and full of wonder; may your vision for going forward be clear and bright; may mystery surround you as your purpose unfolds you. Many Blessings of the Earth-Art-Hearts from those dear to you, and to Hearthfire! (I loved your 'send' button - and so I have!)
